Thank you for visiting my website. Please look through whichever links seem relevant for you and your situation. As a physician, I believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and honesty. That means your physician should be not only competent and capable; he or she should address problems and options in language you understand. Whether you are seeking treatment or a second medical opinion, once you understand the actual problem, what choices are available and what the consequences of those choices might be, you can make an educated decision that’s right for you.
I realize that many people do not want to be actively involved in determining their own care, preferring instead to have their healthcare provider tell them what they should do. This means they will have no real understanding of the proposed treatment or what the short and long-term outcomes may be. I prefer to equip my patients with the tools they will need to feel empowered towards making their own decisions. If this sounds appealing, then I look forward to meeting you.
